Arts in Education

We create individually designed workshops and performances geared toward the school or grade and their specific needs. We can relate dance to math, physics, music, English or other curriculums, but in all cases we help the students find their humanity through dance. How do they fit into the world?  How they relate to the world? and What difference can they make in the world by just being?  We are listed as a Pennsylvania registered artist through the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, Southern Alleghenies Museum, and Galaxy, Arts in Education. We are available for 10-day residencies and assembly performances.

Recent residencies include:

• Tyrone Elementary School, 10-day residency with 2 Core groups, Tyrone, PA, October 2004.

• Baker Elementary School. Altoona, PA, October 2002.

• State College Area High School, West Side Story musical, spring 2002.

• Lock Haven Catholic Elementary School, Lock Haven, PA, 5-day residency, 2001.

• Dickey Elementary School, Lock Haven, PA. 5-day residency, spring 2001.

• St. Francis University, Loretto, PA. 5-day residency, fall/spring 2000-2001. 

• Foot of Ten Elementary School, Hollidaysburg, PA. 5-day residency in collaboration with visual artist, Spring 2000.
